Where Himalayan Torque Began
It started not with a business plan, but with a bag of wild honey brought back from a trek in the Kumaon hills. Passed by a local farmer on a narrow mountain trail, tasted under an open sky — it was unlike anything we had found in any store. Pure, raw, alive.
That moment planted a question that wouldn't go away: why do the most extraordinary foods from our mountains rarely make it to the people who need them? The answer was almost always the same — too remote, too small-scale, overlooked.
Himalayan Torque was built to close that gap. We work directly with small-scale growers, forest harvesters, and multi-generational farming families across Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh — people who have spent lifetimes perfecting what they grow, but have never had the reach to share it beyond their valley.
Every product in our collection is chosen the same way that honey was — held in the hand, tasted, questioned, and only kept if it clears that single honest bar.
